Obsessed is a film with some thrills and good moments but lacks in the script and the story. Derek Charles played by Idris Elba has a great job, a great family. It all starts when a new temp Lisa beautifully played by Ali Larter who is sexy and hot joins Derek's office and tries to seduce Derek who is her boss, the story then takes wild turns where Derek is chased by Lisa where ever he goes finally leading to troubles at home for him.
After much twists and turns the story finally ends up by Lisa getting killed in a freak accident at Derek's home when she fights a super strong wife of Derek played by Beyonce.
No one still knows why Derek was being chased by Lisa and why does she keep coming back to haunt him. I guess the director was thinking that the audience will forget the logic by just showing some legs and skin. The problem with this movie is that it had the making of a great movie but just loses out on the story front.
Overall the movie has its thrills but stops short of creating that fizz that the trailers showed us !
